Thursday, November 10, 5:30-8:00 P.M. , we warmly welcome for the first time Kevin Coelho, of H.G.C. Imports. Kevin is so many things Portuguese for us beyond wine, including great farmstead cheeses, olive oils, beer and real fruit sodas. He’s simply one-stop shopping, and a terrific guy. Kevin distributes our wildly successful Alandra, bag-in-the-box wines and will be sampling these as well as four other wines, including Portuguese cheeses. Tasting fee is $5, waived if you purchase a bottle from the event, and with your purchase, you will receive a raffle ticket eligible for a drawing of three $25 gift certificates for Alameda Wine Company! To boot all bottles from the event will be 10% off!
Thursday, November 17, 5:30-8:00 P.M. , we offer our first ever walk-around tasting of the most perfect wines for your Thanksgiving Day feast. We’re popping the corks on over a dozen wines from sparklers to sweets, mostly under two sawbucks and ones that will compliment your fine cooking, impress your most finicky of wine guests, and not bankrupt your wallet while you contemplate your property taxes. Tasting fee, $10, including an international spread of well-partnered cheeses.
